Teresa Williamson defended her title in the 1,500-meter run with a new Big South Championships record and followed the effort with a first-place finish in the 800 meters on Saturday at Vert Stadium. The Highlanders had their best finish at the Big South Outdoor Championships since 2007, coming in fifth as a team with 59 points.
